Chef Werner's Mirabell Restaurant & Lounge serves German-American Cuisine. Each entree is prepared fresh. People come from all over for our famous Wiener Schnitzel, which our customers say is the best they ever tasted. Other favorites include the Kalbsteak Mirabell, Goulash, Sauerbraten, Kassler Ribs, Original Züricher Kalbsgeschnetzeltes, Beef Tongue, Ox Tails, Beef Rouladen and an assortment of veal dishes. In addition to traditional German food, we prepare fresh fish, a variety of chicken dishes, steaks and daily specials for lunch and dinner.

Mirabell is an oasis of proud authentic German tradition, with three beautiful dining rooms from which to choose. One room creates a warm, cozy atmosphere with wall to wall murals of Bavarian villages. Another sets the Deutschland decor with assorted beer steins, Hummel figurines, pewter and crystal all carefully placed behind beautiful oak showcases. The bar is lively and friendly with lots of artifacts and atmosphere. Every night is a party as the customers indulge in spirits and conversation. There is also a private party room for 40 people with banquet facilities for up to 100 people. You will find a variety of imported and domestic beers, wines and liquors at the bar.

In 2011 it opened on Sunday's from noon until 8pm. Everything at the Mirabell including the food truly stand out: the Wiener Schnitzel is the best since Germany: wavy crust, flat, obviously fried in a pan, very tender and aromatic, just the right amount too. Every bite is like sitting at Grandmother's table. Definitely worth the trip. Great German beers on draft including: BBK, BBK Dark, Bitburger, Julius Echter Hefe Weiss, Kostritzer Black Lager, Radeberger, Reissdurf Kolsch, Spaten, Erdinger, Erdinger Dark, Franziskaner and more. The Mirabell Restaurant is two blocks east of I-94 and 10 minutes from the Loop or O'Hare. Open daily Tuesday-Sunday.

Plenty of parking anywhere in the shopping lot across the street until 12:30am.
